Hola bbs ❤️ See you on March 1st at 209 Geary, this time with producer extraordinaire Jaijiu 🇦🇷

Jaijiu is most likely your favourite producer's current favourite producer, hailing from Argentina and from the depths of Soundcloud- if you know you know. Influenced by the Argentine club sound, Jaijiu reimagines what folklore could sound like if you hit it with a hammer and recorded it. He explores Latin American rhythms and percussion, creating regional baile-core club tools fine tuned for the dancefloor and for your hips. He has worked alongside colleagues in Buenos Aires to find a new sound that is rapidly spreading to other hemispheres.

This edition also sees the Veneno debut of Mexico City-based Murderith and local gems Amante and Juanita LaBanjee, alongside residents Ana Luisa and Sofia Fly.

Amánte’s eclectic mixes encompass genres such as Baltimore club, footwork, neoperreo, reggaetón, Panamanian dancehall and reggae, and baile funk. They aspire to give prominence to the roots of Reggaetón in Panamá.

Murderith brings bringing her signature high energy sound that explores the percussive tension between jersey, dembow, jungle, dancehall, guaracha, grime, reggaeton, qgom and booty bass.

Juanita LaBanjee is a genre and gender fluid artist who recently moved to Toronto, bringing the sound of her hometown Miami to our scene.

Veneno mamas Sofia Fly and Ana Luisa need no introduction, but if you’re not familiar… that’s your sign right there, see u March 1st! xx
