For our last party of the year, Miami's finest jewel Nick León returns to Toronto alongside Mexico-born, Seville-based Dj Hidrataccioni and Veneno residents Ana Luisa and Sofia Fly for a night full of raw NRG and polyrhythms. A true taste of Latinoamérica's finest electrónica.

EARLY BIRDS 

NICK LEON

Nick León’s dystopian club music samples the sounds of Florida’s diverse ecosystem, but his style has varied fearlessly along the way. Finding his way into the rap world at a young age, he collaborated with some of the biggest underground rappers in South Florida. He gravitated early towards the Latin sounds coming out of Puerto Rico and Colombia, and as a self-taught producer and DJ in Miami, he felt compelled to shift his focus to his own work.

As of recent, Nick released his highly anticipated Xtasis EP on TraTraTrax which featured DJ Babatr and remixes by Doctor Jeep and Pearson Sound. 2022 also brought a high note for Nick, claiming a production credit on one of the most well-reviewed albums of the year – MOTOMAMI by Rosalía. He also co-produced Kilo by Tokischa and The Martinez Brothers which has been ringing through clubs everywhere in 2023.

With coveted spots on a number of festivals and further production for a slew of artists, Nick León’s hands are full and his music is teeming with real life.

DJ HIDRATACCIONI

Mexico-born, Spain-bred Hebe Kiebooms’s music project Dj Hidrataccioni was born in 2017 with the intention of mixing Latin American rhythms with electronic club music, introducing a sound palette that drifts from broken beats to rave sounds. Interested in musical exploration and hybridization, her sets break away from homogeneous sessions and instead lean on eclectic and energetic mixes, making dancers move and hold onto their water bottles for dear life. Hebe is the co-founder Rawa Club an independent netlabel, music platform & party series based in Seville, Spain.

ANA LUISA

Ana Luisa is a Toronto-based DJ/producer curator from Venezuela whose sets and productions, fine tuned for the dance floor, mix Latin American electronic music with club sounds from further afield. She is the co-founder of Veneno and a resident on ISO Radio.

SOFIA FLY

Sofia Fly is a Toronto based producer, musician, DJ and co-founder of Veneno. Her music features poetic party girl lyrics to a Latin inspired fusion of hip-hop and house music, while her DJ sets feature complex, genre-hopping sounds built around her own signature remixes and beats.
